Attention prospective new vendors: All vendors must complete an application before selling at either location of the Staunton/Augusta Farmer's Market. Click here to download the application form (pdf format).
 

 

 

Hours of operation:

Verona location - Wednesday afternoons; Noon- 5:00 PM

Staunton location - Saturday mornings; 7:00 AM - Noon

 

Items expected during May:

Breads, cakes, pies and other baked goods Hanging baskets Vegetable and herb plants Lettuce, spinach, and salad greens
Strawberries Greenhouse tomatoes House plants Trees and shrubs
Wines from local vineyards Asparagus Annual and perennial flower plants Farmstead cheeses
Local beef, pork, chicken, lamb, rabbit, and goat Soaps Jams and jellies Honey

Wednesday Market

"Verona: On market days the squares are piled high with garlic and most every sort of vegetable and fruit. The people shout, throw things, scuffle, laugh and sing all day long. Hours: Noon - 5:00 p.m.

    Season: The first Wednesday in April until the last Wednesday in October

    Location: At the Market dock (on the south end) of the Augusta County Government Center on Rt. 11 in Verona, VA.

Saturday Market

   Hours: 7:00 a.m. - noon

    Season: First Saturday in April until the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving

    Location: At the Wharf Parking Lot on Johnson Street in historic downtown Staunton.
